News from Barrie and Bobby Aycock

Many of you have probably already heard this,
but on June 3rd, Ed and Luci Kivett became the
new owners of Glen-Ella Springs. After 21 years
we feel extremely blessed to have the
opportunity to pass the ownership of Glen-Ella
to such a delightful young couple. Bobby and I
are certain that they will carry on the same
tradition of hospitality and good food that you
all have come to expect at Glen-Ella.
Bobby and I have purchased a house in
Clarkesville which we are renovating. We're
living in Demorest until September. We plan to
spend lots of time in St. Simons, and do some
traveling whenever we can. We'd love to hear
from you, so give us a call; or we can still be
reached at the same email addresses for the
present:
baycock@glenella.com for Barrie, and
bobby@glenella.com for Bobby. We'll still be
around the inn occasionally this summer too.
I'll still be in charge of the Heirloom Tomato
Festival on July 20th, so come out and see us
then, and meet Ed and Luci.
Read more about the festival in the article to
the right.

A Message from Glen-Ella's New
Innkeepers - Luci & Ed Kivett
|
|

Pictured above are Luci, Ed,
Edward and Andrew Kivett.
Glen-Ella's new Innkeepers.
We are so excited to be the new
Innkeepers at Glen-Ella Springs
Inn and Meeting Place! After a
long journey which included
setting goals, attending
seminars, working with an Inn
consulting firm, and plenty of
soul-searching, we are thankful
to have found such a special
Inn. We plan to continue the
tradition of hospitality that
Glen-Ella Springs has become
famous for, a tradition that
started before the turn of the
century by Glen and Ella
Davidson, and was revived by
Barrie and Bobby Aycock in the
late 1980's. We look forward to
building on the vision and
offering a great experience to
all who come. Please ask for us
when you are here as we would
love to meet you. We're looking
forward to seeing you at the
inn!
