Jaemor Farms in Alto has a lot to do and see. Starting in September they have apple picking and they also offer other fresh produce. Fall is also when the corn maze makes its appearance. Each year there is a theme for the corn maze, and this year the theme is “Boys of Fall.” They also have hay rides and other autumn activities!
At Hillside Orchard in Lakemont, you can pick your own apples from August until November. And opening in September, they’ll have a corn maze. In the summer, they have blackberry picking. Throughout the year, you can enjoy the barnyard and kids will love the playground.
Osage Farms in Dillard is a great place to get freshly picked Georgia produce. Along with apples, they grow heirloom tomatoes, cabbage, green beans, pepper, potatoes, and sweet corn. During the winter, the family that runs the farm opens a Christmas tree farms just nine miles away.
