Featuring both local musicians and renowned artists from around the world, these events celebrate and showcase talent across all genres and have something for everyone. Here are some of our favorite festivals where you can enjoy a fun atmosphere, delicious food, and of course, great tunes.

The Best Upcoming Georgia Music Festivals

Georgia offers a variety of events and attractions for music lovers everywhere, and this year, you just have to be there! Savannah Stopover (March 10 – 12, 2016)

Savannah Stopover Music Festival is a unique event that showcases Georgia’s southern hospitality and offers traveling artists a place to stay (and play!) on their way to the prestigious SXSW music conference in Austin, Texas. The three-day festival provides guests with the chance to see up-and-coming artists in an intimate, historical setting. Who knows, you might even discover your new favorite band!

Savannah Music Festival (March 24 – April 9, 2016)

Established back in 1989, the Savannah Music Festival is dedicated to celebrating the music arts by creating productions that educate and unite artists and audiences. The annual 17-day festival features more than 100 productions and brings 360 of the world’s finest musical artists to Savannah each year. Fans of classical, jazz, country, blues, folk, and more can come together to enjoy one of the largest music festivals in the southeast and one of the most distinctive cross-genre music festivals in the world.

Shaky Knees Festival (May 13 – 15, 2016)

With 5 stages and more than 75 bands each year, the Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, Georgia is ideal for rock lovers. Since its inception in 2013, Shaky Knees has featured a diverse lineup ranging from world-famous acts to up-and-coming artists. You can enjoy delicious festival fare at a variety of food trucks, including Southern-style BBQ and vegetarian-friendly corn dogs, that will keep you fueled throughout the day. You’ll also find photo booths, official merch, and screen prints of your favorite artists at this fun festival.

Shaky Beats Festival (May 20 – 22, 2016)

Featuring over 40 top-notch electronic, indie, and hip-hop acts across three stages, the first annual Shaky Beats Festival will have you dancing the night away. From Belgian-style street fries to amazing Indian fare, the food trucks at Shaky Beats have something for everyone.

Imagine Music Festival (August 27 – 28, 2016)

Imagine Music Festival is a two-day electronic music fest held in downtown Atlanta at Historic Fourth Ward Park and Masquerade Music Park. The event will have multiple stages with the world’s top electronic music acts and mind-bending cirque-style artists, and will feature fantastic art installations, vendors, and more, that will keep you captivated all weekend long!
