Near the Tallulah Falls Town Hall, there is a public dock and boat launch for visitors to get their boats in the water or just have a nice lakeside picnic. The horsepower limit for the lake is 5hp because of its small size. Take a tour of the town via boat and take in the breathtaking views of this scenic North Georgia destination. With a boat on the water, you can also enjoy some Tallulah Falls Lake fishing, which requires a fishing license or permit that can be purchased locally. The lake is most commonly fished for black crappie, bluegill, largemouth bass, redear sunfish, spotted bass, and white crappie. Feel free to take a dip off your boat, but if you are visiting without one, then head over to the Terrora Day Use Area for some swimming in the Tallulah Falls Lake.

In the spring, summer and fall live bluegrass bands play at Bluegrass Square in downtown Tallulah Falls on Saturday nights.
