What is Celebrate Clayton?
Clayton, Georgia, is a small town in the North Georgia Mountains not far from Glen-Ella Springs Inn. As the name of the event suggests, Celebrate Clayton is a celebration of the area’s rich, artistic culture and heritage dating back to the Native Americans. Every year during the last week of April, Clayton’s Main Street tranforms into an incredibly lively environment. Set against a backdrop of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, vendors of all kinds sell their wares and hold demonstrations. It’s the perfect way to experience small-town charm and come home with a one-of-a-kind, handmade item or two! At the festival, you’ll find plenty of pottery, jewelry, and visual art.
