The Dukes Creek Trail is about 10 minutes west of Helen and about 45 minutes west of our North Georgia Inn. It’s worth the drive, though!

For locals, Dukes Creek Falls is a go-to spot in the spring when the forest is full of fresh growth and the wildflowers start to show off. - Just up the road from Becky Branch Falls is Dicks Creek Falls, another less trafficked but well-worth-it waterfall near Clarkesville. This one combines two favorites—waterfalls and rivers. After a relatively short hike, the trail ends where Dick’s Creek spills directly into the Chattooga River. It’s a unique setting and a great spot to cool off or fish.
