The Trout fishing Capital of Georgia, the Blue Ridge is the perfect place for serious trout fisherman. The best place in the North Georgia Mountains to go fishing is at the Toccoa River. Stocked above Blue Ridge Dam, the River has several sections along Rt.60 that are open to the public. Most areas of the Toccoa River are very broad, perfect for those looking to fly fish.

Another fantastic place for fly-fishing is at Blackhawk on the Soque River, a winding river that runs down from the Blue Ridge Mountains past the town of Clarkesville. 28.5 miles long, the picturesque Soque River offers plenty of space for fishermen to enjoy. With trout ranging from 3-pounds to 15-pounds, you will love the action on this thriving river. Over the past years, Blackhawk on Soque River has become an awesome fishery. Come out and find out why we love the area so much!
